Dr. Larry Kaplan has joined the anti-decay movement, in its eighth year, to reduce gingivitis and decay by giving away dollars and healthy snacking options. Dental 2000 chose to participate in the Halloween Candy Buy Back to help parents who want to limit the amount of damage that can be done to their children’s teeth from sweets and sugary candies.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each child is eligible to receive $1 per pound for all wrapped, uneaten candy collected from trick-or-treating. Child must be present to receive any money. Classroom donations are welcome. All candy collected will be sent overseas to our service troops. Paper, crayons, markers and stickers will be available for any child who would like to create a card to send to the troops. The child with the heaviest bag of candy will win a $50 gift certificate and the second and third place runners up will win a $25 gift certificate.

HOW MUCH CANDY DID WE COLLECT LAST YEAR?
With your help, we collected over 650 pounds!
